While the North Central Florida region represented by the North Florida Economic Development Partnership offers many business advantages, perhaps its greatest appeal is the region's rural lifestyle. Endless miles of country roads are decorated with beautiful farmlands and dotted with quaint small towns. This is the Florida that defies the typical Florida stereotypes,  and is what we refer to as The Original Florida.

The region is home to the largest collection of natural springs in the entire world, as well as several scenic rivers, including the Suwannee and Santa Fe. Thousands of spring fed lakes abound. Whatever your favorite passtime, there are always plenty of activities to fill your free time.
